Let's create some momentum! A new Chapter in my life is about to begin... The time is now

I tweeted one on my favourite quotes the other day... "The best is the enemy of the good" I believe there are variations of this quote primarily because its origins are in the French Language. So often we get caught up into ensuring what we produce is "Perfect". We spend a lot of time ensuring that the colour, the font, the graphics, the message, is just right, in doing so we delay delivery of the product. I am sure that some of you reading this have been involved in I.T. projects that have never seen the light of day because someone was afraid of missing something, or they simply wanted more. In wanting more, better, stronger faster ... the project was cut because nothing was produced for the business to see, and priorities shifted. No version 1.1 was possible because not version 1.0 was delivered. The fruit died on the vein. I need to ensure that I am not so pig headed and I accept the possibility that I, and others will find imperfections, and that is fine!

Here is hoping that I forget the fact that my site needs a makeover, and I don't have a communication plan, or a Marketing Team, I just want to start producing and tweak things as I go...
I am about to start a new chapter in my life in the next few weeks, I will hopefully be able to start sharing the news.

In a SQL community perspective, I will be producing some Camtasia videos on some topics that are of interest to me, and I am hoping you and your colleagues will find that they inform and/or save you time.

It has been a long time coming, but I finally have a blog.  I threw up DotNetNuke 5.0 on a ORCS Web Hosting with their Platinum Hosting package.  ORCS Web came very highly recommended, and they have not disappointed.  ORCS Support Team has always been quick to respond to my mundane questions.  DNN is a no brainer for a number of reasons {'my past experience','it runs on SQL Server', 'it was made in Canada'}

I am new to the blogging module in DNN, so it is going to a be a bit touch and go over the next few days.  I will be leaving the decor more or less the way it is for now, as I want to focus on more important things like Blogging, SEO, recording some Web casts, DNN optimization... the list goes on.

If you have any suggestions for DNN Optimization of SEO specifically for DNN, by all means let me know.
